Your calendar, as real alarms.
Bugle turns the meetings already on your iPhone into genuine system alarms. They ring through Silent. They ring through Focus. You cannot swipe them away by accident, because they are not notifications — they are alarms.
Why notifications fail. A calendar banner is a suggestion. It appears, it is silent because your phone is, and it slides away while you are concentrating on something else. Then the meeting starts without you. Bugle uses Apple's AlarmKit instead, so an upcoming meeting gets the same treatment as your morning alarm.
What it does
- A quiet heads-up ten minutes before, then a real alarm one minute before.
- Join links for Zoom, Meet, and Teams, one tap from the alarm itself.
- You choose which calendars ring. All-day events and meetings you declined are skipped automatically.
- Connect Google Calendar and your alarms follow your meetings when they move — even while the app is closed.
Built to stay private
Your calendar's contents stay on your iPhone. Event titles, notes, locations, and attendees are read on the device and never sent to us. Even with Google Calendar connected, our server sees only the timing of your events — never what they are about. The full detail is in the privacy policy, which is worth reading precisely because there is so little to report.
Availability
Bugle is in beta for iPhone, and requires iOS 26 or later. It is a personal project built by one developer.
